A new report reveals thousands of school buildings across the country could need critical repairs, raising more questions about what it will take for schools to ensure students can safely return to the classroom this fall.

Additionally, in"about half of the 55 schools GAO visited in six states, officials described HVAC-related problems, such as older systems that leaked and damaged flooring or ceiling tiles. If not addressed, such problems can lead to indoor air quality problems and mold, and in some cases caused schools to adjust schedules temporarily," the report said.said this report

Where’s all the infrastructure repairs the country was promised four years ago?

I’ve seen the protests. Kids can go back to school.

Obama spoke about that loud and clear; MoscowMitch did not listen, and refused to bring that matter on the Senate’s floor.

Sorry. All that money is going to rebuild the destruction left by rioting and looting.

Perhaps we should reconsider our tax breaks for the wealthy, school funding policies, our Secretary of Education, and our overall priorities?

Haha schools even in affluent areas have been dumps forever.

America needs to cut its massssssive defence budget and rebuild its domestic infrastructure and also do something for economic empowerment of the downtrodden people living in poorer areas within its political boundaries.
