After days of internal complaints from employees over the company’s handling of President Donald Trump’s posts, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said he would review policies around discussions of state use of force and voter suppression.... [+]Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty ImagesZuckerberg said the company is reviewing policies about “allowing discussion and threats of state use of force” and voter suppression amid the pandemic .

While Twitter chose to flag Trump’s post saying “when the looting starts, the shooting starts,” Facebook chose to leave it up because, Zuckerberg said, it doesn’t violate policies around inciting violence. Zuckerberg also said he would consider a policy whereby posts similar to Trump’s would be put behind a warning, but said worries “this approach has a risk of leading us to editorialize on content we don't like even if it doesn't violate our policies, so I think we need to proceed very carefully.”

The CEO said he put a team together to work on “building products to advance racial justice” and said he stands with the black community: “I stand with you. Your lives matter. Black lives matter,” he said.“We have so far to go to overcome racial injustice in America and around the world, and we all have a responsibility and opportunity to change that. I believe our platforms will play a positive role in this, but we have work to do to make sure our role is as positive as possible.

At this point, he should step down.

Facebook, where free speech goes to die

Mark is a pile

Disappointing that his own employees had to put pressure. We'll see if he does. I might delete my Facebook account if he doesn't.

this guy has the same eyes as the pope.

Too little, too late. Next caller.

So 38 Million unemployed and Zuckerberg has any realistic need to placate progressive whining employees?

Hopefully freedom of speech will be kept...

Boycott FB. Its played anyways.

finkd jack don’t give fukerberg any clout for him stating “we will review...” we all know he will review concerns publicly, and then continue to fuck us all privately. Mark might be the most irresponsible CEO this world has seen. Mans got zero integrity...

F- this. He should’ve created the review board the first time around. Let’s be real, he doesn’t support the users. He answers to the shareholders.

ANTIFA, often supported by Lefist governments, and other extremist groups have been responsible for most violence at demonstrations in Germany, Sweden, the UK and the US. Greta and her parents have been photographed T-shirts with the ANTIFA stamped on them

It took massive backlash from users, his own employees had to organize a walk out, and the nations eye, for Zuckerberg lizard man, to BEGIN to review the posts. Shows you how far greedy billionaires will go to cover eachother

fuckerberg

A sellout...

He should have named this company Headbook, cause I mean damn. That's all you can see.

Fuk this to the 1000th degree. This is finkd & FBs thing. They say, *sorry* *we shld have bn more vigilant, srry we didn't realize*' Fuk them. They do realize. They know they'll rake in $ & only have to offer an apology & the American ppl, bus.& politicians will cont. to use

Weird lookin' thing...

He isn’t going to change anything besides adding another stupid emoji to the likes

Yeah Zuckerburg grow some balls or appoint someone who can time to stand up!!

It’s just a promise. He won’t review content lol but keep selling data

Lip service

The fact that this man has no friends who will tell him the truth about his haircut says everything.

He can’t be trusted to do so objectively ir competently.

When I thought Zuckerberg was a leader he whimps out, unless he is just saying that to appease his employees to prevent a walkout!

ZuckerbergOut

He’s weak! I predict Facebook will collapse due to political stress!

Love that Julius Caesar Haircut! You trying to tell us something Marky?

Could Facebook employees be Antifa?

Hopefully Zuckerberg revises himself.
