Victorians urged to 'staycation' over long weekend amid virus fears. 9News

Affected students, their families and staff were being contacted, including those who were in close proximity with the infected student.A student at Newbury Primary School in Craigieburn has been diagnosed with coronavirus.

"All students and teachers currently learning and working onsite are advised to remain at home while contact tracing occurs," Ms Bromfield wrote."I understand this news will be concerning for many of you. Prof. Sutton said the student attended school late last week, before they developed symptoms over the weekend."This is not transmission within the school," he said.The state has recorded three new cases of coronavirus, taking Victoria's total to 1681 infections. Aside from the student, the remaining two cases were overseas travellers in hotel quarantine.
