Ancient skeletons found in Central American hold clues to the origins of maize as a staple of the human diet

Dozens of skeletons buried at various points over 10,000 years were discovered. They were found remarkably well-preserved in the Maya Mountains of Belize. Researchers analysed the bone samples to find out the diet of the ancient people.
