The University of Santo Tomas (UST) will be providing free data plans and free pocket WiFi with 8GB of free data for its students who are enrolled in the second term of Academic Year 2019-2020.

The project, dubbed as the Connectivity Assistance Program, aims to provide up to 5,000 lines of data plans and pocket WiFi, not only to students, but also to faculty members, to ensure “accessibility and flexibility in learning” as classes resume amid the coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic.

Students under the different academic programs, as well as high school students, can avail themselves of the free data plans. UST said around 2,000 students have so far signed up for the program.
