School in northern france early in the pandemic, pre social distancing. It had an outbreak not spotted for four weeks as children generally have less severe symptoms. Infections - pupils 40% teachers 43% other staff etc 60%. Also transmission at home. Opening schools is a farce.

If the government seriously cared about children's education & safety, schools would open over the summer holidays - this is just a political stunt!

Maybe if we stopped furlough payments then this may result in a few more kids going back to school
