A student in Australia spent a"night at the museum" after breaking in during the early hours to take selfies with dinosaur exhibits.
CCTV footage shows German student Paul Kuhn, 25, wandering around the Australian Museum in Sydney on 10 May. He broke in at around 1am after climbing on to some nearby scaffolding to gain access to the building and was inside for around 40 minutes, New South Wales Police said. The video shows him crouching down next to a dinosaur skeleton to take a picture with it and stealing a cowboy hat before walking out.Chief Inspector of NSW Police, Sean Heaney, told reporters in Sydney:"He's taken some selfies with some of the displays. He's also stolen a hat and a picture the wall and eventually left."He appeared in court on Monday charged with two counts of theft - the other relating to a stolen piece of artwork.
The Australian Museum is the oldest in the country, but has been closed to the public since August 2019 for a 12-month renovation period.
So... What has he broken or stolen, what is the charge? Charge him an entrance fee..
Man just wanted to see some fossils.
