Nursery children forced to play in 'isolation zones' at French school

Three and four-year-olds were allowed to go back to school in France this week.

Is it any more isolating that kids being at home, without seeing other children ? I have a single child who isn't keen on school, yet he's already asked when he can go back so he can at least some sort of interaction with his friends.
