Australia has to work hard to maintain our ranking in international education.

That's simply rubbish, this is a political move, it has been proved by teachers and parents that children can catch up very quickly after months of not attending school.

Leave parents and children alone enough is enough!!! Each and every parent is doing the best they can for their individual situations at the core preservation of our children’s mental health through this unprecedented generational event is all we care about keepthemsafe

Students across the world face the same gaps, it’s relative....you don’t need a biased/fear mongering ‘Fed gov commissioned report’ telling you it’s Aust only. Blending f2f and RL might be ok for sec schools but not for primary, write off T2 as RL.

The Zone of Proximal development is clear here. Children need structure, clues, reminders. Some children can’t solve problems alone. They need the help of Teachers or a more advanced peer. The classroom is where this can happen to enhance cooperative learning.
