Sources say regular daytime programming will be scrapped and replaced with TVO-produced educational content similar to what the station already offers online. Two million students are out of the classroom until April 6 to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Canada.
So what does this even mean? Look at which teens are registered for which class and load their work into google classroom so they have a map of what is required
If they announce about resuming classes online, I wonder what the plan is for communities that don't have internet or upgraded internet infrastructure to support it?
I hope it’s addressing what construction workers are dealing with because building a condo is a necessity at the moment ?
I don’t have cable. There is no TVO live stream and it only comes in half the time with antenna. I hope stuff like this has been considered
I wonder if they will also give unlicensed home daycares throughout Ontario a bit of direction and speak to the options for childcare that frontline workers have! Maybe follow Quebec’s model?
All the kids should start over in same grade between strike days-pd days-snow days ect ect didn’t learn much
I’m hoping it’s is either to have teachers teach students remotely, or provide parents with a curriculum/tools to homeschool our kids...which will happen in my household regardless. I can’t see schools opening anytime soon. 😖
Extending the school closures for another 2 to 4 weeks.
When ?
