All visitors should be stopped unless visiting terminal patients this would help protect patients and staff

New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton have completely banned visitors except for maternity and children’s ward where they can have 1.

WTF

Good it was better when that was the norm, patients didn’t get worn out wards were cleaner and nurses didn’t get caught up having to explain the same thing over and over because after all relatives can’t talk to each other.

Is this some variation of the three second rule, where food that falls on the floor is safe if you pick it up fast enough?
