The Primate of All Ireland has written to Stormont's Education Minister urging him to consider closing Northern Ireland's schools over coronavirus.

Mrs Foster said there probably was more confusion following Mrs O'Neil's intervention and warned A-level exams could be disrupted.Coronavirus: all your questions answered

The Catholic Church should keep their noses out of people’s business we no longer follow the church, the stronghold & fear they held over my parents & their generation doesn’t apply to my generation

Well said 👍👍

catholic church leader unhelpfully giving an opinion on issues relating to children and schools that the catholic church should have completely withdrawn from years ago.

He’ll not have to worry about that

Community this is an opportunity to support each othet

For anyone struggling with childcare needs there’s a Facebook group set up by fully qualified and Garda Vetted childcare workers. Search Covid 19 childcare for frontline staff and you’ll find it. Lots of people offering their services

This has absolutely nothing to do with priests

Martin should concentrate on dealing with the paedophiles among his clergy rather than stick his nose in medical procedures he knows nothing about.

Says the man with no kids & no actual clue.

And he would know about child minding

Why do people with no medical qualifications insist on giving advice. Stick to your field.

What an A $ H * £ €

Good.

Seriously ! I work and my husband is self employed , 4 young kids , make other arrangements means ‘when I work my husband’s business is closed to mind kids , when I’m off there’s no salary,’and don’t qualify for short-term ! If we’re all in the same boat then I’m on the titanic !

And the response from NI unionists is we follow London's lead , not our southern neigbours on this small island .Pure idiocy driven by sectarianism .

Ya priests would know all about childcare 🖐️👶

With many churches closed priests are now available for reliable safe babysitting services. Wait a minute....

Thanks for that Mr. parenting expert.

And he'd know about raising children because.....

Sure he’s a few priests there that would pitch in
