Suspected case of Covid-19 at Wits University

According to a statement released by Wits on Friday morning, a medical student at the university has been quarantined.

University management told staff and students that the student had been quarantined after coming into contact with a person who had been identified as having Covid-19.“The student is being monitored closely and has not displayed any symptoms of Covid-19. The student has been screened and the test results are expected later today,” said the university.

“However, as a precautionary measure, the faculty has cancelled the clinical activities scheduled for the student’s class today. We will keep you updated as soon as we have any further information.”

Depopulation in progress

Dozens of schools & universities have closed down in other countries. They won't open for about a month or two. They got hit harder by the day as death tolls just kept on rising.
