Second case of COVID-19 confirmed in Trinity College Dublin

Efforts are now underway to find anyone who has been in contact with the individual - a male student from their health science faculty.

On Wednesday, nine new cases were confirmed in the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases on the island of Ireland to 61 with 43 in the Republic. A Trinity student - who wished to remain anonymous - told Dublin Live that the email was sent just before midnight. "This is the second case within the University Community.
