Universities and schools should 'respect the choice of girls' and not force them into STEM topics, according to Sky News host Rita Panahi.
The comments come after the principal of Sydney's Pymble Ladies College dubbed the decision by the University of Technology Sydney to decrease entry standards for female students who want to take STEM courses as "outrageous". Ms Panahi told Sky News the education sector should "respect" that girls are gravitating towards non-STEM subjects.
