Staff and students were alerted that a positive case of Covid-19 had been identified and that tracing has started to find anyone who has been in contact with the individual.An email sent to students and staff from the University reads: "We were informed of a positive case of COVID-19 within Trinity College Dublin late on Thursday night .
"The HSE will trace anyone who has been in contact with the infected individual to ensure they receive any necessary medical attention. The HSE said it is now working rapidly to identify any contacts the patients may have had, to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
