Epping Boys High School faces a one-day shut down after a year 11 student was found to have the virus. New South Wales Health is urging students and staff to self-isolate if they fall ill with respiratory illness. There are 55 recorded cases of coronavirus nationwide, 25 of which are in NSW.
Queensland confirmed two new cases this week, bringing its total number of infections to 13. The first Australian baby was diagnosed in South Australia, becoming the seventh case after his mother returned from Iran on Sunday. Four Australians remain in lockdown on board the Grand Princess cruise ship off the coast of California over fears of an outbreak on board the vessel.
A long way to go to catch up with Iran.
