There were winds of up to 97mph recorded in some parts, with trees crashing to the ground and roofs being blown off buildings. Most of the UK will see services continue to be disrupted as the bad weather continues, and as workers scramble to repair damage caused by yesterday's strong winds and rain. The Met Office has issued yellow warnings of snow and wind across most of Scotland on Monday and Tuesday with gusts of up to 60mph possible.
