This weekend we have to buy cardboard so my daughter can do a poster which has to include a photo of her and it is due on Monday."It's a frantic week and a fraught one and it makes me deeply miss school holidays."And I haven't even gone into the extraordinary difficulty I am facing taking over my eldest son's distance education.

Parent who cares too much - the best poster ever made, may have called in graphic designers to assist. It makes me proud of the fact I donate to The Smith Family each year because I know how I struggle to pay for everything. I can't imagine what it's like for families who are struggling for basic needs who have to send their kids to school in mismatched uniform items and school books in plastic bags.

I'm glad I never had kids. Grocery shopping is now a whole lot better...
