Two Civil Society Organizations , Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria and the Society for Civic Education and Gender Equity have called for amnesty for Maryam Sanda convicted for killing her husband, Bilyaminu Bello.for killing her husband and was also ordered to be remanded in Suleja Correctional Centre until she exhausts her appeal rights.
If amnesty try intervene I bet you, many women after two or three kids will kill their husbands at the slightest disagreement, inherit assets and prefer to serve jail terms. Do people who are advocating for amnesty think the judge who sentenced Maryam did not consider the kids?

For a mother that has the heart to kill her husband, I don't think the product of that marriage is safe with her.
The children have responsible uncles, aunties and grand parents that would better care for them. Even if you pardon her she should not be allowed to raised the children so they will not be infested with act of committing murder
Orphans do survive; murderer wife shouldn't be justified with the excuse of children's survival.

There are some things before you do, you think twice, especially murder and when you not a criminal, but when premeditated is awful and a hurtful situation. Loosing both parents will be real tragic for the children at this age
