According to the department of education, pupils were not happy with some of the teachers at the school and set fire to debris.
“The governing body has suspended classes for today [Tuesday] and we were able to calm the situation, with the hope that tomorrow it will be back to normal. We are working on the matter. Our circuit officials are on the ground handling the situation,” said education spokesperson Muzi Mahlambi.
I agree, this behaviour should be severely punished but I also want to state the following. Where does these pupils learn such behaviour. In every strike or disagreement with state or organizations people burn, distroy and toi-toi. Children learn by example. They think it's OK.
There has to be some sort of punishment for such. End of. Our children may be angry and by god they have every right to be...BUT...no one is doing them any favours by allowing such behaviour to go unpunished. I would make them clean the FIRE STATION...every weekend.
Even with their own people in power, they are still burning down schools it's like fighting with yourself 🔥😂😱😠, this is the ignorance of the underprivileged, they protest, burn down schools but yet they will still go and vote on the same party again and again 😂😂😂😱😠
