PASADENA, Calif. - Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West said on Saturday she had successfully completed her first year of law studies while preparing to release a documentary about her advocacy work for criminal justice reform.
West is best known for developing beauty and fashion products and chronicling her life with her sisters on TV’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” She became interested in criminal justice reform after helping to win the release two women from prison. “I really genuinely just stay focused on the cases and the people,” she added. “I’m not doing it for publicity. I really do care.”
Vince DiPersio, an executive producer of “The Justice Project,” said West was taking on a “fair amount of risk” by advocating for the release of prisoners.
Getting a degree can only be a good thing and helping unfortunate people with that too....but she said she's not doing it for publicity, then why make a documentary about it.
Talk trash all you want about her but what other celebrity has been using their fame to advocate for criminal justice reform and is working at getting a law degree so she can do more? So much hate when she’s just trying to help people unfairly sentenced like Alice Marie Johnson.
Apprenticeship with a law firm not having to go to school and do all the school work and exams like normal law students. And she’s proudly showing off what she did? Well done America!
She truly is a person that you would love to hate because of the way she has made her millions. You have nobody to blame but yourself for her very high standard of living. Like it or not, she is doing a good job in regards to jail reform. “F” her on her built by man body.
KimKardashian is a well-known fraud. I don't think she can hold a pen or operate a computer. She has employed some minion to do her school-work and will sit in the exam to pass and voila this plastic-stupidity is a f***** lawyer. Note that the real lawyers are any better.
