Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a PigeonBot! Unusual bird-like robot built by scientists

Researchers at Stanford University built real bird feathers into a flying robot. Attached 40 feathers to artificial wrists and limbs with synthetic ligaments. Found the presence of the feathers allowed the machine to perform tighter manoeuvres than traditional rigid wings.
