Been taking Turmeric or Curcumin for 20 years. It is a powerful antioxidant and I take it to protect my liver. I take meds for hypertension, metformin and prostate maintenance. Works well so far. My SGPT and SGOT are normal.

Turmeric has long been considered a natural remedy in Sri Lanka & India my wife who is Sri Lankan insists I have it in my breakfast cereal reluctantly I add it to my porridge most mornings. We always add it to rice whilst its cooking it makes the rice a nice saffron like colour
