Maszlee announced his resignation as Education Minister effective tomorrow, at a press conference held at his office earlier today. “I see that a change in minister will not affect the existing education policies but it will be towards strengthening the education system despite facing challenges from those who are not in favour of the Education Ministry’s policies,“ he said.
“A great responsibility rests on the shoulders of anyone who holds the position. I am confident that his legacy as Education Minister will not be forgotten. Thank you Maszlee for all your effort,“ he said.
