In a Queensland first, the all-new $80 million Fortitude Valley State Secondary College will not separate boys and girls’ bathrooms.
The decision has not been taken lightly by parents and experts who have slammed the move as “ridiculous”.Fortitude Valley State Secondary College will be the first school in Queensland to have unisex toilets.
“I reckon boys and girls need and deserve their own privacy at school,” Mr Bleijie wrote on Facebook. “The toilet facilities at Fortitude Valley State Secondary College meets contemporary design standards in relation to accessibility, inclusivity, privacy and safety,” a department spokeswoman toldIt’s not the first Australian school to have shared facilities with Adelaide Botanic High School also fitted with unisex toilets.
Another person said it would be fine if the cubicles were all separate, but having shared hand basins would be a “real issue”.

Here we go, down the gender neutral rabbit hole we go. I knew this would happen. Sanity, logical reasoning and human nature says: There MUST BE separate toilet/change facilities for each sex and gender neutral. That is, 3 facilities, screw the cost.

Boys' toilets are a cesspit of bullying. Dacking at the urinal, bombs fly over the cubicles, gauntlets by the sinks. A safe haven in a locked cubicle and a shared, monitored wash area is a good solution. Only thing is the male urinal is very efficient, so need plenty of seats.
Who made this decision ,totally unacceptable by the broader community and you call this democracy! Bullying the girls in favour to transgender

Grow up people, these are walk in walk out facilities. If you can’t teach your children to behave around a toilet facility it’s on you.
